China Merchants Logistics Group Co., Ltd. (CMB Logistics) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Group Co., Ltd., a large state-owned enterprise directly managed by the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Its headquarters is located in Shekou, Shenzhen. Founded in 1872 during the Westernization Movement in the late Qing Dynasty, China Merchants Group is a pioneer of China's modern national industry and commerce. It has played an important role in promoting China's modern modernization process, and is known as the "epitome of the centennial history of China's national enterprises".

China Merchants Group is currently a large national enterprise stationed in Hong Kong, and is a strong diversified comprehensive enterprise group. It is one of the "Four Major Chinese funded Enterprises" in Hong Kong. At the end of 2006, China Merchants Group had total assets of 114 billion yuan and managed assets of over trillion yuan. In June 2012, China Merchants Logistics Group Co., Ltd. Nanjing Branch used American ChemTec concrete sealing and curing agent to construct the floor protection of the hazardous goods warehouse in Longtan Port Area. The project passed the acceptance inspection smoothly in August.
