Introduction to the North Kentucky International Airport Project in the United States
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is located in Herbert, Boone County, Kentucky, USA, covering an area of 7000 acres (28 square kilometers). Although located in Boone County, the operation of the airport is managed by the Board of Directors of the Kenton County Airport. This airport is the third largest hub of Delta Airlines and the largest hub of Comair, providing 512 flights per day to 121 non-stop destinations. In addition, airports are the third most important international hub in the United States, providing flights to cities such as Paris, London, and Frankfurt.
In 1995, the runway of the airport was protected with Kentek concrete sealing and curing agent. In 1998, the airport owner unit made an evaluation report on the effectiveness of the use, and the conclusion was that Kentek concrete sealing and curing agent can significantly improve the concrete's freeze-thaw resistance, wear resistance, and resistance to chloride ion corrosion. Especially, it is more effective in resisting shear damage on the surface of the runway concrete. Runways protected by Kentek can extend their service life by 30-40%.
ChemTec has played an important role in many foreign airport runway and floor protection projects and has received widespread praise from customers for its protective effects. It has to be said that Kentek has achieved remarkable results in the industry through its excellent product quality and advanced technological level. We will always urge ourselves to never forget our original intention on the road of innovation, in order to provide customers with the highest quality service.
